"LIVEr Than You’ll Ever Be" was originally remastered by David Axelrod, according to William Stout. Live'r Than You'll Ever Be was recorded by "Dub" Taylor from "Trade Mark of Quality" label, using a Sennheiser shotgun microphone and a Uher "Report 4000" reel-to-reel tape recorder. The recording itself is a high-quality audience source. It was the first audience recorded rock bootleg to be mastered and distributed, considered to be the first live bootleg. The original release was put out on the Lurch label, the recording was actually produced and manufactured by a label that would become known as Trade Mark of Quality (TMoQ). |
